Graveyard WalksThe Graveyard Walks bring personalities of the past back to life as Warrensburgh Historical Society actors represent the men and women who built the community. There are two after dark 'walks' through the cemetery on consecutive Friday nights, each followed by a dessert social. An afternoon 'walk' through the cemetery for the school's fourth grade class highlights the in-class study of local history. Dinner with the Dead is a tablecloth dinner that is accompanied by costumed actors who interact with guests. The annual event is in October; reservations are required. 2009The program featured Valerie Chambers as shirt factory worker Lizzie Keays, John Gable as businessman Lewis Thomson, Maria Ligon as museum founder Isabelle Cornell, Dennis Martinez as businessman John G. Smith, Sandi Parisi as Town Historian Mabel Tucker, and Doug Goettsche, Rita Ferraro and Steve Parisi as graveyard guides. Dessert socials were held the night of the first walk at Cornerstone Victorian Bed & Breakfast and the second at the home of Rosemary and Bill Maher. Dinner with the Dead was at Grace's Restaurant.
