A beautiful quilt has been donated to the Society by Jane LeCount for the express purpose of raffling it off to raise money for the Society.
The quilt is on display in the museum if you would like to view it.
iThe quilt was commissioned by Jane in 1983 to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Man in Flight and the 1983 Glens Falls Hot Air Balloon Festival. It measures 66” x 87” and was designed and created by
Ellen Ellis, Mary Lou Smith, and Susan Johnson of Maranatha Quilters in Lake Luzerne.
The Society is offering the quilt as the prize in its spring raffle. Tickets are $2 each, 3 for $5, or 6 for $10. The drawing will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 5 pm at the Warrensburg Farmers Market on River Street. The
winner need not be present.
Tickets can be purchased at the Museum, or by email the Society at firstname.lastname@example.org
